We’re expanding the Al-Hidaayah College in Kraaifontein, Cape Town.

Al-Hidaayah College, located in the lower-income area of Kraaifontein, is the only Islamic educational institution serving the local community. With a growing population and a critical shortage of schools, the college faces an urgent need for expansion – including additional classrooms, more educators, and the integration of modern technology.

Renowned community developer and contractor Ishmail Boolay is currently assisting Al-Hidaayah in this important phase of growth, helping to enhance the infrastructure and support the institution’s mission to deliver quality Islamic and academic education. As the demand for Islamic schooling rises, this collaboration marks a vital step toward building a stronger, better-resourced future for the learners of Kraaifontein.

The expansion project includes the construction of:

  • 18 additional classrooms.
  • Masjid, Moulana and Caretakers accommodation, classrooms and educare will be extended to ad an additional 10 classrooms.
  • Additional play area and parking.
  • Erf adjacent has been earmarked for building a Secondary and Tertiary institution.
